Not even half full

I try to be optimistic, but at heart I have to admit I am more naturally one that tends to look at the empty portion of the glass. That said, I do try to look at the "bright side of life" (sing along with me Monty Python)!

I snapped this after dinner when I noticed how the light was shining on my glass. Nothing special, but I liked the tones of the glass and the reflection.

i too am predisposed to the empty portion ... perhaps it's down to the genes. the orange curtain (?) in the background goes well with the brownish table-top to give a mellow feel to this photo. the reflection of the glass is fascinating as well.

A good composition Jeremy, most wouldn't notice the glass, including myself most times, I like the fractures of light here as well especially the base of the glass, and the tone beyond is lovely
