      Hey there - this photo has been blogged to Five Things You Need to Know about Michigan for Friday, March 9th 2007 on Absolute Michigan.

      There's a story in there about a guy who is hiking the ice from the International Bridge to Duluth. Relation of yours? ;)

      My dad is from Minnesota, but no, no relation. I am jealous of him though, I really like this picture:

      I've been following his journey, mostly because I'm interested in what the ice conditions are like, but also because I'm obsessed with ice in general.

      That is a cool shot.

      I can't fathom doing what he's doing. Of course, falling through the ice is a particular fear of mine.
