Winter sunset
When you shoot landscapes you sometimes return from a photo shoot without a single usefull image due to conditions not beeing what you expected. And sometimes one single image saves the day.
One evening in february I went to a location I had not visited before, hoping for a spectacular sunset, but thick clouds rolled in from the ocean and more or less completely blocked the sun. Only occasionally did the sun break through the clouds. I managed to catch one of these short moments of light, and it made the long drive and the walk in the cold wind worthwhile.(I think this was the time when I decided that I had to pad the upper portion of my tripod legs to avoid freezing my fingers off on the bare metal, even with gloves on) The location is Mulevika, a remote bay at the end of a desolate road on the island Nerlandsøy, in Herøy, Norway. Commentsfranknorquay says:wow!!!!
