Visit with Santa
LOL - my little ones visiting with Santa - Grady is grabbing his sister around her neck! Oh and I am pretty certain Nyah charmed Santa into giving her everything she wants for Christmas. She is just like her mama - very very charming when she wants to be.
Sorry I've been MIA - - soooooooooo busy - too many holiday events/parites. Soon as Christmas is over I will have to start dieting!

Never Say Never
So last year around this time I started thinking about what I wanted to see for my life for the upcoming year - ya know typical New Years stuff.
One of the things I wanted to focus on was to open myself up to life and possibilities and to just be gray and not so black and white. I really felt like it would help me grow as an artist. What I hadn't realized was how much it would open me up to everything in life.
In case I haven't said it lately I LOVE MY JOB! And before this year I had always held fast to 2 things about this job:
1. I will NEVER sell
2. I will NEVER work for John Bosse - - LOL - hopefully he won't ever read this.
Well here I am doing both - And who would've ever dreamed up that I actually LOVE to sell even though a commission based salary terrifies me in today's economy and I actually adore John Bosse - okay really he better never see this. I learned that I love being charming and I am highly competitive and it is challenging like nothing I've ever seen before. I've always loved a good challenge.
Try something new - you might learn a thing or two about yourself and along the way fall into what makes your heart sing. Oh and that is me talking about my new job and not John Bosse - LMAO - just to be clear.
I used my reflector for this shot - I am so proud of myself. That is the light that is hitting my arm. First time I've done anything like that for a self portrait.
Inpsired by the totally hot and gorgeous Lutman - here is her shot and I don't feel like using HTML

I also saw Photozoo do one recently too but it made me think of Shannon's which I always wanted to emulate
