It is ironic and no, not official. There are tons of people in the neighborhood who hate the tourists who come every year for this fiesta. But "colaboración" is the most common way to say "cooperation" in Spanish so it's a translation that's slightly "off".
Ramon: they are trying to make a point about the festival getting overrun by outsiders I guess. This was stenciled onto the ground, surely by some 20-somethings who hate hearing foreign tongues in their hood every year.
Atelier Teee: I guess it's more effective in the international language of tourists :) Note that in the next image there is a sticker telling European exchange students to leave, also in English.
Qué fuerte, pero típico de aquí: Primero invitan miles de turistas, para sacarles la pasta (ya que Barcelona vive bastante bien del turismo) y luego quieren que se vaian rápido - los catalanistas (catalanistas digo - no catalanes) quieren quedarse entre ellos....
Pero si, de hecho ya no voy a estas fiestas pk hay tanta gente que ya no se puede disfrutar- Mejor ir al las fiestas del Pobloe Sec o Sants....
Jaja, es una provocación!! En serio, no soy de BCN, pero alguna vez lo he hablado con algún amigo de alli. El turismo masivo tiene cosas buenas y malas, si un barrio popular (Barceloneta, Gracia, etc) se pone de moda entre el turismo no es difícil de imaginar lo que va a ocurrir, suben los precios, viviendas dedicadas al turismo... y otros efectos colaterales...BCN sabe de eso, es una ciudad muy cara para vivir
