Is it a shadow darner because there is a shadow on the eye? Ha ha... I took another after moving the stem that blocked the light, but that one came out fuzzy.

Boy did you get ever so close. I am amazed! I
don't even bother with the darners-they're
way too skittish. Beautiful work. Still a few
around here still-however, the frost is round
the corner right now, it's any day now that
insects will be absent.

But this doesn't have the blue pattern
between the wings. Is that variable? Hmmm
trying to figure what mine is, a Canada
Darner or a Shadow Darner. One labeled his a
Shadow one with a blue pattern like on mine.
He landed on my doorway and expired and have
photos on my site... the last ones under the
Bees...Set. Thank you.
