SiMF: 7/23/07 Post-Party Editionleftover Manhattans (2nd pitcher of the night) leftover agua fresca pitcher of leftover martini rehydration station olives duck fat capers leftover white bean & sundried tomato dip leftover chopped herb mix cream cheese the blue cheese i bought for the party and didn't even serve leftover fresh mozz seltzer leftover caramelized onion dip leftover lime & lemon wedges sour cream leftover lamb stew multigrain from Bread Alone leftover tomato paella more leftover lamb stew and basmati leftover chicken & red pepper sausage from the sausage in puff pastry I made for the party leftover saucy ducky leftover Green Goddess a couple of pieces of wild mushrooms in puff pastry from the party a chunk of blackfin tuna which I was going to make into tartare for the party, but didn't crimini and shiitake mushrooms; an abundance of fresh herbs; kaffir lime leaves; kirby cukes for pickling; fresh figs to go with the blue cheese I didn't end up serving orange and purple carrots, scallions, baby fennel the entire back of the bottom shelf is filled with tubs of duck confit and duck fat eggs, not Tellos extra smoked trout, from the deviled eggs, sitting on top of a tub of homemade pickles tuna I didn't finish more leftover Green Goddess Cinzano Italian vermouth Do you make your own from fresh curd? I'd love to try that someday, but we just don't have the space for it in our current apartment. Luckily, we can get really delicious stuff made fresh locally. ![]() ![]()
