Labour Day Weekend Brews

Picked up a selection of some of my favourite (semi) local beer to have in the house for the past holiday weekend. From left to right:

Pumphouse SOB (Special Old Bitter)
Garrison Hop Yard Pale
St-Ambroise Oatmeal Stout
Garrison Blackberry Wheat
Propeller Hefeweizen

The St-Ambroise technically isn't local since it's brewed in Québec, but close enough...

I have to admit I am not much of an ale connoisseur but do know there is a difference between beers! The graphics on these labels caught my eye...when I was young my father had quite an extensive brewery collection. I use to love looking at the labels and the bottles....thanks !

There definitely is a difference. I rarely drink big brewery beer anymore myself, but usually keep a case of Canadian or Keith's in the beer fridge for guests that are a bit nervous of craft beers.
