Can you get the WD MyBook to go to sleep via the Air Disk? Haven't had much look with it, and pretty much have to power it down manually via the button on the front at the end of the day. Any tips would be helpful. Cheers.

I've never had any problems with it powering down. I find it goes to sleep on it's own when it's not being used.

Yes, the light stays on, but the hard drive will spin down. You should hear it spin back up again when it's accessed the next time.
