I had to vote early this year because on election day, I'll be an election judge. When you vote early, you can only do so on an electronic voting machine -- something I swore I would never do. But it's not like I had a choice. The whole thing took about an hour. This is not bad, since I didn't have to stand outside.

I would highly suggest voting early if election day is going to be problematic for you. If you live in Chicago, here's a list of early polling places.
