druid hill park-2001-04-13-025 the pool's been restored as a memorial; here's a view looking back at the steps. the pillars mark the corners of where a fieldhouse used to stand. on the right are a couple of benches and a sign giving specific information about the pool, which was used from 1921-1955. the city pools were integrated in 1956.

i remember spending the day in this pool.also the rec dept. municipal
games held the swimming meet here.kids would go in the morning for swim
lessons.the pool would open later in the day until 5pm and reopen at 6pm
unti 8pm.
