druid hill park-002 another neat idea. "safety city" is a miniature city filled with streets, sidewalks, traffic signs, stop lights, etc. schools bring little kids out here and teach them how to be safe about crossing streets. i pointed it out to peter, and he said he knew some adults who could stand a few lessons there.

I was a kid of the 70s and Safety City used to supply cars (orange
"power wheels") for the kids to drive. If was so happy when my my
parents bought one for me! I was the only one in the neighborhood with
a Safety City car. Everyone else had Big Wheels and would tease me when
I had to wait for my car battery to be charged!
