druid hill park-016 the old swimming pool. they just started filling it in a few weeks ago.

I assume this is where I learned to swim in the late 30's. We lived on
Keswick Road. I would take soda bottles to the store for refund to get
the money to go swiming. Or scrub someones front steps. I took my little
sister and we walked to the park. We both learned to swim there. I
remembered I loved the elephant I believe her name was Mary Ann. I left
Baltimore in 1956 for Ca. because my husband got a job here. The Park
has really changed I see. I was glad to find this on the computer. Took
me back to my child hood. Thank you
