Study of the day:

Each one of us is an artist ?
Each one of us is expressing the entire world ?
Each one of us is a monade ?

Each "self" is a "point of view" on the world, each "self" expresses the "world" from his own "point of view", in the sense that the "world" doen't exist out of the "points of view" that give it an expression. The "city" doesn't exist outside of all "points of view" on the city. It is a beautiful idea . . the city is all the "points of view" on the city. [...] Every "self" contains (wraps) the entire "World". . [...]. . For each of these "self", Leibniz who don't meet the too small subjective island of the res cogitans of Descartes, creates a concept to designate "each self" who thinks the entire possible world. Leibniz called him the "monad". Each "monad" expresses (wraps) the entire world.

There's not one straight line in this. It's a miracle the houses are still standing.

I have the impression I could look at this for
hours and not get tired. Odd, I never knew
I was such a voracious voyeur. What is it
that draws me into a view of so many different
dwellings, so many different living spaces?
Is that a woman or a mannequin on the
balcon? And so on ... It got me thinking
that you have created Perec's biography
of an apartment building, but not in literature,
rather in a visual image.

this is certainly much more organic image than my Nordic windows;)
I love to look at all those details that indicate human presence. so much stories ... very entertaining *!*

In warmer climate life/privacy is much more exposed than in this side of the world. the windows are mostly kept open, while we often keep them closed. yet it is so rare to see two identical windows on any facade in any side of the world, because the people who live behind those little glass frames (or the light) always leave some special marks: 'perfect imperfections'

this photo also wakes up my other senses, I can almost smell something cooking ... ratatouille?
