My new tattoo

T-square substitute?

You know it! Someday I'll get my thumb joint surgically altered so that when I splay my hand, it's a perfect right angle.

Now I no longer have to carry around a cumbersome ruler. My right forefinger is marked off in inches and half-inches. I'm thinking of getting centimeters on my left hand -- also a friend recently suggested lines up my arm for liters displaced!

There has to be some way you could get a barcode or something on the side of your head and use a doppler effect to calculate speed, too. Although now I think about it, that would require an observer. Grouphack!
