Joep de Groot's photostream

In my bag resides, among other lenses, a 70-200mm lens which I hardly used for landscape photography. During this assignment for the Dommel's water board I rediscovered this lens and started using it to create atmospheric photos of the landscape. Something I should really continue to do.

This picture was taken a bit further down the stream. As you can see the Run is surrounded by corn fields and grasslands with a few trees on its banks. On the horizon you can see a glimpse of the skyline of Eindhoven.

I've sees some amazing sunrises, but this one is certainly at a high position. The higher clouds seemed to form a zigzag pattern starting at the rising sun.

A bit further south west of Eindhoven the stream 'Run' flows through the landscape, which is mostly a rural area. The project leader of this area was very satisfied that I had been able to capture the rural character of that area. I consider that as a nice compliment.
