122nd FS F-15C Eagle marked for the 159th FW of the Louisiana ANG recovers from a Red Flag 12-2 sortie, as the moon rises higher in the sky. Caught this same jet almost 3 years ago from the same spot, at the time it was flying with the 71st FS "Ironmen" out of Langley AFB. This jet has quite the storied history, with 3 Iraqi AF kills (1x MiG-23 and 2x SU-22s) from 1991's Operation Desert Storm (markings are on the other side, unfortunately).
