Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!
Oxalis stricta I think. Several species in the Oxalis genus are sometimes called shamrocks though they are not clover according to Wikipedia. Not this one specifically, but it still has a great shamrock shape, its probably just not big enough. Another shot shows its flower.

great color. i like the dew drop very much.
so that's what it's called -- shamrock... i have a photo of the plant too, but since i don't know what it's called, i just assumed it is clover. check out my lucky four-leaf (well, more like three-and-a-half) clover --

I don't think it is usually called Shamrock, but it was the closest I could find around here. This year I grew my own real clover.

Good minute detail...Happy St Paddys day too.
The shamrock (♣) is a symbol of Ireland. It is a three-leafed old white clover. The name shamrock is derived from Irish seamróg, which is the diminutive version of the Irish word for clover (seamair).
It is sometimes of the variety Trifolium repens (white clover, Irish: seamair bhán) but today usually Trifolium dubium (lesser clover, Irish: seamair bhuí). However, other three-leafed plants—such as Medicago lupulina, Trifolium pratense, and Oxalis—are sometimes designated as shamrocks. The shamrock was traditionally used for its medical properties and was a popular motif in Victorian times.
