Nice job. If you use Photoshop, have you used "curves"? It does contrast and brightness better than the actual contrast and brightness tools. I find I can't live without it. :)

Beautiful girl, too. Sweet expression.

ps if I may ask, what focal length and aperature did you use here? Was the focus effect right out of the camera or done in post-processing?

cute as a button-- I just started over again from scratch, so it's impossible to say what all was adjusted. I just tried to be more conservative all around.

cindiann-- Curves is indispensible for me too, although I find it a bit touchy so I use other methods when I can. I used a 50mm/1.4 lens at f/1.6 here. The DOF blur is all real. One of my favorite aspects of this lens is the buttery smooth bokeh. I never blur in post...
