Just purchased this beauty today. It's an EF 85mm f/1.8 USM. Peter Camyre recommended this lens to me for basketball a long time ago and I finally decided to purchase one. Its large aperture and quick AF should make it a good choice for shooting basketball (and other indoor sports). I also plan on using it for portraiture as the large aperture should provide nicely blurred backgrounds. Can't wait to try it.

It was a beautiful clear day in San Diego with a temperature of 75°. A good evening to fire up the barbecue for a delicious dinner of salmon, shrimp, and rice.
