Lovely mm mmm mmmmm!!!

Another gentleman who came by the studio for a portrait. One more day till Mustache May...

Strobist: Softbox above and behind me. Shot this with our new RZ 67 and my digital back. The glass on the new RZ is sooo sharp. I think I had this cranked down to like f/11

A fine portrait and a great direct gaze. Are these shot at something of a wider angle ? seems that way from the perspective. Feels a lot like Paton's portrait style (and the lighting you describe would be similar,too) without the background lighting added after the fact that he seems to do a lot of.
