bridge and fog

well, how do you like that? The Schmap guide people used my Golden Gate Bridge photo in an iPhone promotion.

    Thanks, Schmap!

(I think it's all a bunch of marketing hooey, but what the hell...)

woow -- if no editing was done !

    6. john curley (103 months ago | reply)

no, no editing, no photoshop, that's how the scene looked. it's not that unusual for the fog to roll in under the golden gate bridge. as the sun goes down and the temperatures cool off, the fog gets sucked in the gate, and when it does, this is what you get. it's more about being at the right place at the right time than anything.

Great shot of a familiar and dear sight ~ one of the many forms of SF fog! There's a fog and rain group, started, of course, by a SF dweller(1/2 time), my son, Kodama (Sam).

Awesome John. Sunset? You say the Marin headlands, not Mnt Tam?
I don't know the area super well but I used to cruise down from Seattle on photo shoots when I was in my late teens.

Steffe is right, this photo certainly has more fog. I think prefer this fog over mine.

      Nice photo.
