The Stretching of Young Virgil

This two-month old cat, named Virgil, now lives with me and with Kathy Dixon. Virgil, like Stumpy, is a male flame point Siamese. We adopted Virgil from the Irving Animal Shelter, and we named him for the attendant who handled the paperwork. He in turn took his name from the Roman poet.

Virgil stretches in the pet carrier. The old flannel shirt makes a big improvement over newspapers or bushes, and the electric blanket underneath the carrier helps too. I doubt he has felt quite so warm since prenatal days.
