2007 Pinot Noir, Domaine Berrien Cellars
Domaine Berrien Farms is an 80 acre fruit farm located in Berrien County, Michigan, in the heart of southwest Michigan's scenic Wine Country. The vineyard development began in 1992, when tart cherry orchards on the site were first replaced with vinifera grape vines. This is one of their popular dry reds, the Pinot Noir. A Burgundy-style wine with soft mocha aromas, deep black currant flavors, and a velvety smooth finish. Aged in French Oak for 12 months, this well balanced wine has earthy nuances and a vibrant color.
