Excellent ! - I prefer this - (though personally I'd choose a narrower border of 1-2 pixels - just my pref. though ;) )

I agree with the border - it's a bit too much. In fact, I'm trying to get away from using borders - but simply didn't think this image was working well, so I thought I'd give it some weight.

Yes, I like the square crop. Concentrates attention on the lovely stone....

great shot brandon. i like the subtle shifts and nuances of color, texture and atmosphere.

i think one of the reasons this one works a bit better than the previous shot, is because the cropping helps emphasize the expansive sense of space. despite the thickness of the air, there is a feeling that the landscape stretches on for miles.

through the haze and beyond.

I like this one better - the cropping of the tops off the closest ones make them loom larger and accentuates the perspective.
Lovely!

I add my vote to this one. Foreground composition looks more attractive to me.

I never thought I'd ever choose a pan and scan version over widescreen, but this one puts me in the photo a little better. I feel like I'm experiencing it and not just seeing it.

Both are good photos. I like this one more.
