Novita's new toy

Novita and I visited the Smoky Mountains today, near Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

She's been enjoying the 40D that I surprised her with last month almost as much as I'm enjoying my new 35mm 1.4L. I very well may turn into a bokeh whore soon with this new glass. Absolutely loving it.

Em. - It's becoming my favorite lens methinks. However, it's crying for a sibling in the form of the 135mm f/2. Ironically, it's $200 cheaper in Indonesia, so I'll be waiting.

She's very talented, and this summer I'm going to help her to further refine her technique with shooting, using Lightroom and Photoshop. She's got heaps of natural talent in any creative endeavor she attempts, so I have no doubt she'll succeed with photography.
