Anyone over the age of 30 probably remembers these fruit-shaped plastic candy containers. Heck, they might even still be around today, though I can't recall the last time I've seen them.
For those that don't remember them, each one contained a Pixy-Stix like candy powder, the same flavor of whatever the fruit-shape was.
I suspect these were distributed by many companies over the years, but these examples were put out by Tom's Foods - a company that did a number of candy bars and packaged snack food items over the years.
I really like the variety presented here. These eight containers might represent one of each flavor that was available at the time, though I cannot be certain.
This comes from the "Munktiki Collection", a large lot of consumer goods packaging saved and stored by Californian Paul Nielsen during the 1970's. A collection I recently acquired and will be documenting here.
