Nabisco Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - TMNT - Royal Ooze Lime Geletin Dessert - 1991

This series of posts are dedicated to my Flickr pal, tOkKa. Hope he likes these.

Coming from the early 90's, are these Royal "Ooze" gelatin desserts. Fun stuff, though the flavors could have been a little more creative I think. Still, just getting a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Jell-O type product is pretty neat.

I didn't realize Royal gelatin was still being made in 1991.

Waffle: Actually, Royal gelatin is still made today. Stopped being made by Nabisco though in 2000, when they were acquired by Phillip-Morris. This was due to the fact that PM already owned Jell-O (and a few smaller gelatin makers) and they had to sell off Royal to avoid a monopoly. Weird, huh?
