I took this photo of the Mission Space sign at Epcot using the HTC ThunderBolt. The camera is a big improvement over the camera in last year's HTC EVO.

not bad for a $250 smartphone, but for a 8meg camera thats alot of compression showing in the picture. I am assuming you used the back side larger resolution camera (of course you did) and not the front camera. Also did you resize pic for flickr or is this coming directly out of the camera?

Thanks Rob. Yes, I believe the ThunderBolt and Desire HD have very similar (if not exactly the same) cameras.

Kinath - This is straight out of the camera and uploaded to Flickr using the built-in Flickr connector in the HTC software. I, too, am amazed at what's possible with these little camera phones now.
