From last week. Pip and I have been trying to hit Fair Hill a few times before his surgery Tuesday in case he's in recuperation mode for a while. It's been hot, but Pip's been a trooper.

Went for another Fair Hill walk today, and Pip hiked like a champ for a while, but then started acting weird. His rear legs started to shake and give way, which scared the hell out of me, either from the heat or his hypo-glycemia, so we pulled over and called in a rescue mission from Jen. She came out and picked us up and took us back home, where Pip made a full recovery.

It was a scary time, and it worries me a lot. The vet thinks he has an insulinoma (hopefully only one), but after his surgery we are hoping that his hypoglycemia will recede, at least for a while, and I can get back to hiking with my best bud.
