My Own Strange Path

Have you ever heard that saying that everyone has a twin somewhere in the word? I use to think that this couldn't apply to everyone and it only applied to a few people by chance, but now I think it might be true. I never really paid attention to it until I moved here, but I see faces here that look a lot like people's faces in The U.S., but with Japanese features added. It makes me wonder if they have ever done a study on this or is it that the human mind only can recognize a certain degree in variation of people's faces, thus some start to look the same. It's never of anyone I know personally, but I have seen some people that has looked like some random person that stuck in my head when passing in The U.S. It's as if there are only so many types of faces to be given out when we are made. I am going to guess that it's chalked up to how the mind identifies faces and that their is actually way more, but it's a bit interesting don't you think?
