Yeah, it was a really really lucky chance that people happened to be where they were. :) I used the cut out effect because I think NY looks better in B&W...;)

I think a full B&W would be just as dramatic. Just lighten up her coat even more, & she'll shine. If had any skill at B&W conversions, I'd try it myself.

I like the cut out fine-- I faved it! But I think a full B&W will work well. Just make sure the coat is much lighter than the floor, and since the hair very nicely frames her face, that should her stand out even if her tone is similar to the tiles.

But it's hard to know for sure without seeing it. And everyone has their own take on what looks best.
