JRM-66 MkVI "Skew" - AA variant

different shades?
Teal and light blue, I believe.
Yeah, med blue and dark turqoise, the med blue was Sorens neat idea.
This could be a little more coherent and /or interesting, but the rest is cool.
jinx u o me a sodah!!! :D
yay for rare parts!

I'm not normally a fan of tiny mechs like this, but the amount of detail worked in here has altered my perception. This is pretty amazing! I like it.

Thanks all. Peter, I normally prefer to build bigger Mecha too, but this scale has some neat advantages. Aside from better overall stability, you can often allow just one or two pieces define a complex shape/detail area. This allows for some interesting parts usage and colourschemes.

Great stuff Jas. I really like the overall stance; how the waist and the “head” are both thrust forward. Nice details as well.

I too have been getting progressively smaller in my mechs lately (though I’m sure I’ll go bigger again at some point). I think it’s something about being able to use single parts to represent individual shapes, rather than having to build every shape and angle out of individual smaller pieces. Or maybe I’m just getting lazy…;-)
