Buffalo Fish

I was in Buffalo, MN for a metal/hardcore show. In between bands, I took a walk and found this odd sculpture in front of the movie theatre that is downtown.

What I'm thinking is the artist was on something when they thought this was a good idea.

A colleague who lives in Buffalo says "...there are a bunch of these all made by different artists for a contest a couple years ago. in this case, the town of buffalo is actually named after a buffalo fish (kind of like a carp) that used to live in the lake..."
