Rock Stacking in Lynn Creek

Most of the time in the city man-made surprises are not of the pleasant kind … Surprise .. my car is gone … I got the ticket … someone tested spray paint
but here is different , four ( if you look carefully you will see the 5th one as well ) formations of stacked rocks . I don't know how long they were there but lucky for us there were still standing. Sunday early morning in one of my truly favorite places – Lynn Canyon in North Vancouver . If you look closely you can see Suspension Bridge.
If anyone knows who stacked the rocks ( first congratulate them ) , I would love to photograph them while in the process. I bet it would be fun.
This weekend was very “productive” for me and I have huge amount of pictures to go threw. Friday night Baseball and Queen Elizabeth Park , Saturday - Tour de Delta cycling race and Sunday – 5:30 am in Lynn Creek … not bad .

Bridges over Fraser River

To catch the light … it's all about it . Between both images of the bridges just 5 minutes and world of difference and 5 minutes later end of shooting. Sunrises are not the easiest thing to capture. Both of images are 7 exposure HDR. Sorry fo posting and running it's 2am …

My favorite boat

My favorite boat in Steveston harbor. Basking in first rays of light under wonderful blue sky .
Because of photography I'm becoming very early riser , because of PhotoShop I have not go to beat before midnight in very long time. Few more weeks of this and I will look like a fellow from metro station in the movie “Ghost” - I'm sure you know what I'm talking about the “angry ghost”

Thank you my Friends for all you comments , faves but the most of all Friendship. I will always admit , I would be nowhere in my photographic ride without You …

Bridges of New Westminster

There are some good parts of working till 4am on Saturday night .. OK Sunday morning
I'm able to pay more taxes to Ottawa
I can get to place ( that I didn't want to get at 3:30 am ) and shoot at 4:30am
I'm done shooting and it's only 6:30 am

Here are three bridges connecting New Westminster to Surrey. One on the front SkyTrain bridge that only carries rapid transit rail ( metro ) , second Pattullo (very narrow 4-lane bridge that took many lives) and in the back the oldest , railway bridge. As you can see all of the quite different design.

Morning Glory

Happy 4th of July to our Friends , Best wishes and most of all fast and successful economic recovery.
Morning Glory , I like them . Not when it wants to move in and take over the house but I like the beautiful shape of the flower. I have not done any flowers I a while and wanted to take a little break from all that water that is in my images.
