Wanting to start veggie seedlings this week. Hence, planning the balcony display to know how much to prepare!

I decided to not have flowers this year (except maybe a pot on the side table), but have creeping green beans (and zucchini, which creeps also) in those pots instead, to create natural shade for 1- the sun that hits really hard on the balcony for many hours in summer and 2- privacy from the new condo building in the back that used to be an abandoned made-my-balcony-super-private-it-was-awesome commercial building. Also, they are yummy. :P

Also, 2 new big square containers this year! They used to be recycling bins, but the city replaced them with new ones, and so the old ones are perfect to reuse for gardening!
