This week I went to an epic cookie exchange. The exchange itself was epic, AS WAS the cookie selection. NEED I SAY MORE?! I've only got a small selection of the copious offerings here. Of course you can see I snagged one of Sara's doughnuts right away. :)

This nail polish is ... not what I expected, to say the least. This photograph doesn't really demonstrate why I hate it, and the fact that it's impossible to capture the shade on a camera is how I ended up with it in the first place. It's Zoya Shay. This looks the most accurate to my eye. I like a nice nude polish, but this color makes my fingernails look like weird dead things. It's just a touch too orange for me, I think? But I bet it would be MUCH better on someone with darker skin (or at least not so pale/pink). Any takers? If you think this polish would look better on you than it does on me I will send it your way STAT.

I've already got quite a backlog of FOs to shoot/post about so far this year! These mittens were a super fun project and the first thing I've made for myself in a while.
