This is one of the cherub statues on the older graves at Fremantle cemetery. These older graves are neglected on the whole - probably because there's no family remaining to care for the graves. Amazingly, they are left alone and unmolested, apart from a few breakages that might occur in storms.
Whenever we visit Toby's grave, I and my friends visit these older graves - to check in on them and pay our respects. This is one cherub I'm particularly fond of: Mauretta's cherub.

Yay! It's cooler, so I'm heading out for the evening - I'll be around later or tomorrow : )

The heatwave continues and it's too hot to venture very long or far from the fan, but looking at these blues cools me down a little.

A return to my archives during the current heat wave in Perth. I'm feeling a lot like these dried up chrysanthemums but not quite as pastel ...
