The Moon

The moon taken on Friday 15th August 2008 from Dukinfield, Cheshire, UK.

Taken with a Nikon D60, and Meade ETX 90. Shutter was set to bulb and I used a sheet of card to cover the lens, then fired the shutter, waited for the shake to stop, manually exposed the image for < 1 second, covering the lens again with the card before releasing the shutter. (all because the D60 doesn't have mirror up operations)

This is the only way I can reduce shutter shake.
