Brazil Cup of Excellence #3 Fazenda Pedra Preta by Guilherme Dias De Castro. By all accounts a mediocre cup of coffee. Marked up 600% by your local neighborhood Intelligentsia. Selling for a cool $32.99/ half pound when the coffee went for $13.10/ lb green at auction. This 12oz cup on the clover was $7.25 I believe. I tasted not one of their descriptors except for maybe a hint of milk chocolate and some buttery mouthfeel when it cooled. To be fair, the barista did offer to prepare another coffee for me upon realizing my apathy to this one after a brief discussion, which I appreciated but kindly declined.
