Fledge 2 at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine
We watched as the second hawk began to look more restless. I stubbornly tried to get all three baby hawks in view. The first fledge looked down at the nest and the second leaped off and landed in Morningside Park where we utilized the alarm calls of robins and squirrels to locate the new fledge.Off in the distance, we could hear fledge 1 crying. Then Isolde returned with food and fed the remaining nestling while the 2 fledges looked on.
