bizarre and random indeed.

the marker is on the NE corner of Wisconsin and Western Avenues NW, just down from the Friendship Heights bus stop (as before sunrise suggested). My wife has to take credit for pointing this out to me. Odd thing was, we had just seen more food a block south of there, near Maggiano's, atop a City Paper box (see photo before this one for proof!).
