It won't be long now before summer comes along and the summer activities start in Burrard inlet. I took this photo one weekend afternoon last summer when the inlet was full of sail boats and paddle boarders.

As we were driving up to northern Ontario to check out the fall colors, my daughter (then 4 months old) decided we could not wait till the next rest stop for a feeding, so we pulled down a farm road for a break.

I snapped a couple of photos while my wife fed the baby. At the time we were surrounded by these wind turbines, they look cool but made quite a noise as they spun in the fall wind.

We see a lot of rain in Vancouver but it normally isn't followed by a rainbow ... just more clouds. This afternoon the sun came out while it was still raining across the water in down town Vancouver, which made a nice rainbow over the city.

Woke up early on boxing day and headed down to the beach in South Victoria to try out my new tripod I got for Christmas and this was one of my favorite shots from the morning. I got lucky this lady was out for her morning walk just as the sun came over the stairs because there were many others out that morning.

This log has obviously been drifting for a while before it washed up on this stone beach in Juan de Fuca Provincial Park. It was the color that stood out from the rest of the beach and caught my eye.
