Workers last week started to demolish one of the abandoned dock sites in Hull. I always find it a little sad when they tear down old buildings. I know that they have to make way for the new but I quite like the 'gritty' areas of town. They have much more character than modern places. On the upside, the demolition revealed lots of interesting stuff which would normally be hidden. Me and my friend Dave had a fun hour or so photographing the remains.
This is a shot of a tidy pile of bricks. I assume that they will be taken away to be reused.
