      This is awful-like a black velvet painting or something. It's like you just cranked up the saturation to 10-a cheap and ugly effect. The Parliament bulidings are beautiful-dignified structures-you've turned them into a carnival act-this doesn't work at all.

      I'm still thinking about this, not sure whether it's 'shallow' or 'glorious' - I'm not into HDR, perhaps because my computer dies at the htought of it, and not sure whether it's the way I see the world...Colours are wonderful, detail is great - but still wondering, wondering...!

      I think the reason you shoot at dusk or dawn is to achieve colors and saturation that are not available any other time. Man I love this. Over the top? - sure but a photo that reaches out and grabs you. I dont think this shot could work without some element of HDR or would be alot more drab in the process. A fave.
