Justyna and I shoot a lot together, as you may have gathered if you've browsed my photostream. This fine October day, we took a drive to Gatineau Park near Ottawa to enjoy the sun, the fall colors, and a blueberry tea (1oz Amaretto, 1/2oz Drambuie, Earl Gray Tea) on a busy patio.

Strobist goo: This portrait was taken at the MacKenzie King Estate and lit with my 36" Photek Softlighter on a stand and a Canon 580EX II. The sun from camera left is blowing out her hair a little much, but forgivable, methinks.

Wow, have I ever been half-assed about posting pics as of late...I'm not much on new year's resolutions, but I will make one: Post more pics on Flickr in 2012.

I've actually been doing quite a few shoots as of late, including this one, an out-take from an upcoming editorial.
