Not-a-branch

Lamellaria diegoensis

Found this guy on surf grass and wasn't sure it was even an animal at first. It's a mollusk of some sort but not sure what. It has a defined foot, oral tentacle-like things, eye spots or actual eyes, a mantle, and a strange siphon above the head that can retract and extend. There was no discernible shell but it did have noticeable yellow nodules on it's dorsum. The oral tentacles were specked with yellow and the head between the eyes had grey vein-like patterns.

I found it clinging to a piece of surf grass and when detached it balled up with it's foot folded in half lengthwise so the outside edges were touching. A few seconds in water and it unfolded and began moving around.
