caps 3 - canes 2, OT, preseason, 25 sept 2007

our first home caps game of the season - preseason that is.

the caps went up 2-0, then lost that lead in the third when carolina
tied it up, pushing the game to OT. in OT, the caps were down a man,
then drew a penalty partway through the penalty kill. poti came off,
green went in and carried the puck to the net, dishing it off to
backstrom, who scored the GWG.

the new hd screen is large and I dislike having the penalty/time
left/score at the top of it. the new 400 level hd band around the arena
is nice however - not that I am ever looking there!

the next home game is friday, another preseason game against the
flyers.
