Pyrex & Anchor Hocking Mugs
Can you tell which one is Pyrex and which is Anchor Hocking? They look almost exactly alike. I found 3 of these together at my local Council of the Blind. Two were AH and one was Pyrex, so I got a representative of each.

The Anchor Hocking pieces sometimes (especially the newer pieces) are just a bit more opauge than the Pyrex pieces. I was able to notice this difference. Also, (although not in this case) there are very subtle differences in the decoration that can be noticed when side by side. It is not uncommon to find the two company's pieces mixed, Pyrex stopped production in 1978 & Fk/AH continued into atleast the early 1980's. Many Pyrex customers reordered from FK/AH after they could no longer reorder from Pyrex.
I also noticed a slight difference in the shades of blue, but this is not unusual, sometimes it is different lots of paint, & sometimes differences in uses & aging.
