Old Harry,Dorset

Old Harry,Dorset

Old Harry is the large stack at the end of The Foreland. He once had a 'wife' further out to sea but sadly he is a widower now. There are two other small pinnacles further along the headland and an arch has been cut by the sea next to him. This may eventually lead to some company for Old Harry in future centuries. The spot with its views was special enough for the author H G Wells to have his ashes scattered here).
